Today we went to a block party at Pat and Gene's house. It was in honor of their son, Matthew, who is serving in Iraq. The whole block was decorated with a patriotic theme. Gene hired a magician for the kids and it was a really cute show. Gene just had a putting green installed in his backyard so everyone was taking a swing at that. I am so grateful for a break in the humidity.
