"Feeling Buggy"

I must admit, I'm not a bug person.

Bugs aren't my thing. But, I can never take the fly swatter to them either. I feel guilty.

I instantly see a baby bug crying, "Mommy, when is Daddy coming home?" And then I see Mommy bug saying, "He's not. Some mean human squashed him!"

And while bugs aren't my thing, I can tell you this, this buggy was.

He was on my friend Gary's shirt. Landing on a sea of blue cotton, he paused for a moment to pose for my camera. And what a funny little face!

I can't help but wonder if he was thinking about my funny little face.
