He Admitted it.

So, the other night, Tom had met his band buddies after work and so I came home to do a little craft project. When he does his thing, I do my thing and it works out perfectly.

So, I cane home and had dinner. Make a cup of strawberry tea and settled in with my fur kids for the project. It seemed too quiet so I put on my country music station.
I love my country music. I love it because it tells a story. Because I can relate to the stories it tells and because it's not really in your face. It can be on for hours and it never "gets to me".

Well, Tom got home early that night and came into find me singing and crafting and simply happy. About an hour goes by and I see he has a funny face on. I ask him what's wrong and he says, I just realized that when you really love a girl, she can make you love country music.

I looked at him, confused for second. That's when he says, it's true. I can't believe I like country music. I see what you see in it. And through you, I like it.

Now, I'm not saying he is going to start buying Kenny Chesney cd's or anything, cause I doubt that will be happen. But, I have to admit it, I thought it was the coolest thing to here him say, through you I like it. First of all, not too many men will even admit to liking country music. But most of all, he is able to love something, because of his love for me. I've been smiling for the past two days with the thought of it.

My boy likes country music. He admitted it. Now, let's just hope he doesn't read this blog and see the whole world knows it! :)
