We decided to re-do our lawn this past weekend. We were fighting doing it, as we really wanted a cottage garden, but after having a huge tree removed, we realized we had to do something fast. It was looking pretty yucky.
16 yards of soil(way too much). Shovels, rakes and all that good stuff. Lots of labor.
But then, as Tom and I were working, came two of good friends, with shovels. And our neighbors, with buckets and before you knew it...it was sort of fun. My Mom came with pizza and all in all, a chore became a good time.
Take a look at this picture of Mr. Taco. He was so excited to run around on the dirt. He looks so happy.
And we will be just as happy if we can get some grass to grow!!
