Flower Stuff

Anyone who knows me, knows I love flowers. Heck, you don't even have to know me. Most of my photography is of flowers.

A few weeks ago I decided to try something new. I bought a plaster/gauze roll at Michaels. Wet it. Let it dry. Painted it. And then glued on some flowers that I had previously dried.

I learned, don't use Modge Podge. It will stain the flowers.
Do use Elmers.
And be sure to spray them with an acid free protectant. Flowers sure fade fast.

Anyways, I was really happy with how the came out. Tom is one of those guys that likes to be involved in any decorating that makes holes in the walls. So, I was proud to tell him, these involved no holes. They are held up with 3M stick ons, as they are so light. I love that 3M stuff. It allows me to decorate, not damage. And I can move them around whenever I feel like it.
