Everywhere I look there are thorns.
And I can't find anything strong enough to protect me from them.
These thorns are ugly and relentless.
But even thorns soften in rainy weather,
So I know I will soon see the sun again.
And I will be stronger next time.
Strong enough to fight the dark, strong thorns without losing so much of my bright,
but sometimes fading light.
